SVCC Days of Giving May 2 & 3

Sauk Valley Community College announces its Days of Giving, May 2 and 3. Days of Giving is a 48-hour, online, social-media driven campaign to support SVCC’s students, programs and initiatives.

Donors are encouraged to give to the area or areas they feel most passionate about such as scholarships, athletics, student emergency needs, or program development. During these two days in May, generous donors and event sponsors will help bring knowledge to life by increasing scholarship opportunities for students; connecting faculty and staff with resources to grow their programs; and help students impacted by COVID-19 to thrive.

SVCC alumni contribute $16 million a year to their local economies annually and that output is made possible when college access is a reality and not a dream. “Investing in Sauk helps ensure the state has a well-trained workforce, pumping millions of dollars back into our local communities,” said Dr. David Hellmich, SVCC college president.

The campaign begins at 12:00 a.m. on Monday, May 2 and will conclude at 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3. Visit svcc.edu/givingdays and follow SVCC on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn to learn more.
